A downloadable embittered duel
We Were One is a card pulling game about the middle and end of an epic showdown, long in the making, designed for the Playtest Zero ParryJam 2024.
You’re at the very end of the sword fight of your life. This is the fight you’ve been waiting for for years, training for, dreaming of, dreading.
You need:
2 players
A standard 52 card deck, Jokers included
Something to take notes with
about 15-45 minutes
Optional: you can print out the game mat on two sheets of A4 paper and tape them together to put your cards on as you play but you can also just use any surface.

Your purchase comes with both a plain text PDF and a pretty 21 page PDF and a printable game mat (print each half on an A4 sheet of paper and tape them together (there's a picture of how it should look included). Of course, you do not need this to play it was just a fun asset to make!
